We are pleased to announce that the Dr. Willmar Schwabe Young Talent Prize 2025 has been awarded to Dr. Maria-Eleni Grafakou, Post-doctoral Researcher at the Faculty of Pharmacy and Chemistry, University of Regensburg, Germany (formerly University of Graz, Austria).
Dr. Grafakou is being recognized for her outstanding contributions to translational research in the field of herbal medicines and the gut-brain axis. Her work exemplifies innovation and dedication in academic research and reflects the values we strive to support in the global scientific community.
The prize, valued at €2,000, was presented at the 73rd International Congress and Annual Meeting of the Society for Medicinal Plant and Natural Product Research (GA) in Naples.
