Teamwork for a cleaner future

23 colleagues from throughout different departments at Schwabe headquarters in Germany came together on October 9, 2025, for our annual Cleanup Day. Equipped with safety vests, grabbers, and trash bags, they collected everything from cigarette butts and packaging waste to more unusual finds like a coconut and even a streetcar seat.

In just one hour, the Schwabe team made a visible impact by removing litter that harms our environment and reminding us how small actions can lead to meaningful change. Every piece of plastic removed and every cigarette butt picked up helps protect soil, water and wildlife.

And we’re not alone: our international colleagues, including teams in Mexico and Austria, as well as our trainees at Schwabe headquarters in Germany have also joined the effort—cleaning up their surroundings and contributing to a healthier planet. 

We’re proud of this initiative and look forward to more of them. Let’s keep the momentum going!
