Schwabe Group reduces carbon footprint by 14 percent

2024-01-24
Road sign with decreasing CO2 emissions

The Schwabe Group reduced its international carbon footprint in Scopes 1 and 2 by 14% or 6,800 t in 2022 compared to 2021 values. Our current global carbon footprint showed emissions totaling 41.450 t CO2e.

This means we have achieved a major interim milestone along the path towards cutting Scope 1 and 2 CO2 emissions in half by 2030 versus baseline. At our German sites we even managed to reduce Scope 1 and 2 emissions in 2022 by 37% versus 2021. Learn more about it at The carbon footprint of the Schwabe Group.
